چکیده

Backround: The term “hydrops fetalis” refers to excessive accumulation of pathologic serous fluid within the fetal soft tissues and body cavities. There are two categories, immune nonimmune hydrops (NIHF). Currently 90 percent cases nonimmune, because decrease incidence with advent anti-D globulin. Case presentation: We present a case Parvovirus B19 (PB19) infection that resulted in NIHF. Fetus had severe ascites, mild pericardial effusion myocardial dilation, appeared during 30th gestational week. Fetal evaluation sonography was repeated every week growth curves, Dopplers amniotic index were normal. Each there gradual recession effusions until 36th week, when they eventually resolved without any treatment. After delivery, neonate symptom – free. Conclusions: cause NIHF is identified at least 60 prenatally more than 80 postnatally, while only 40 pregnancies result liveborn neonate. prognosis heavily dependent on etiology. Diaplacental transmission PB19 second trimester can complications like hydrops, premature rapture membranes, even loss about 30 percent. These should be closely followed Medicine Unit, especially if evidence anemia or hydrops.

Hydrops fetalis secondary to parvovirus B19 infections.

BACKGROUND Fetal infection by human parvovirus B19 is a common cause of fetal anemia, nonimmune hydrops fetalis, and spontaneous abortion and can result in fetal death. Recent improvements in diagnosing parvovirus infections and the availability of intrauterine transfusion have reduced the overall rate of fetal loss after maternal exposure. METHODS We report two cases of maternal parvovirus i...

Recurrent Non Immune Hydrops Fetalis with Polyhydramnios: a Case Report

Recurrent non-immune fetal hydrops (NIH) has been reported in the literature but it’s a very rare entity. It has been postulated to be related to a recessive gene. We report a case of recurrent non immune fetal hydrops in a multigravida with no medical history of note. She presented in her current pregnancy with a significant history of having 2(out of 3) previous pregnancies affected by hydrop...
